At Randell’s Footcare, we’re passionate about supporting the next generation of podiatrists and helping them gain valuable real-world experience in clinical practice. Recently, we were delighted to welcome Monis and Fatima, two third-year university podiatry students, who spent time visiting our clinics across Norfolk.
A Warm Welcome and Hands-On Learning
Monis and Fatima described their visit as “absolutely wonderful” and we were thrilled to hear how much they enjoyed their time with us. During their visit, they spent time at several of our clinics and were impressed by the professionalism of our team and the high standard of care provided to every patient.
They commented that “all the clinics are truly impressive”. Appreciating how our podiatrists offer excellent guidance and care, ensuring every patient feels “comfortable and well-informed”.
Exploring Advanced Podiatry Technology
As part of their experience, Monis and Fatima had the opportunity to see our advanced MSK (musculoskeletal) assessment technology in action. They were particularly interested in learning how our digital equipment and biomechanical tools are used to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care.
They shared that it was “great to see the advanced machines being used in the clinic, especially for MSK, and to learn more about how they support patient care.”
Looking Ahead – Our New Clinic Plans
Our visitors were also excited to hear about our plans for a new clinic. Which will provide even more space, technology, and facilities to enhance both patient experience and staff development. Monis and Fatima said the new clinic “sounds set to be even more amazing” – and we couldn’t agree more!
A Norfolk Experience to Remember
Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play! Monis and Fatima made the most of their time in Norfolk, enjoying the chance to explore beautiful Norwich, stay in the wonderful Assembly House hotel with a lovely breakfast, and share a fantastic Turkish dinner with the Randell’s Footcare team – the perfect way to end a rewarding day.
They even managed to squeeze in some time at the beach, which they described as “a lovely bonus.”
A Message from the Randell’s Team
We were so pleased to host Monis and Fatima and are delighted they found the visit both enjoyable and beneficial. It was a pleasure for our team – including Karen, Aidan, Edgar, and everyone involved – to share insights into our work and introduce them to the way we care for our patients.
We wish them both every success as they continue their podiatry studies. And we look forward to seeing them back at Randell’s Footcare next summer. The future of podiatry is in safe hands!
